This coming Tuesday, we the people of the United States of America will determine the future of our Republic for many years to come … in the ballot box … by voting for candidates who collectively will govern us.  

The way I see it, the stakes are extremely high this year. In my humble opinion,
they’ve never been higher. I believe the next few days will be some of the most exciting times in the history of elections in this country. Who will win? Who will be our next President? Who will be elected into Congress?

We Americans love a well-fought, fair contest and a clear winner. Just think of the World Series, the Super Bowl and all the championship games in every sports we can name from baseball to football to golf!  We see the enthusiasm in our love for contest in how we pick a team, cheer for our favorite players and applaud good sportsmanship. We Americans admire that don’t we?

We want to win in a game well-fought. We rejoice when the players lie spent and exhausted, having given their all for their respective team, for their town, their State or in the case of the Olympics – for their country.

Now let’s turn to Tuesday and our election process. Every vote counts!

This contest is not a game. Electing the President and our next government is serious business. It’s about the future of generations of Americans … YOUR grandchildren and great grandchildren.  The very heart and soul of our country are the high stakes in the outcome of this vote. So as my thoughts wander to the election on Tuesday, I’m placing my bet!

My bet is on the American people … in particular that group of people who have not made their voices heard in a long time.  I place my confidence in the silent majority of Americans {from left, right and in the middle} who’ve stayed too quiet for too long. They’ve stuffed down their thoughts and feelings on the state of affairs and direction of the nation, while inwardly they patiently hoped things would change for the better … that the country would turn around.

This silent majority voluntarily stifled its voice to a mere whisper … until now!

That is … until an unexpected, unlikely and controversial businessman entered the 2016 Presidential race. Donald J Trump, an outsider to the political system has inspired, emboldened and empowered the previously unheard and silent masses of Americans to find their voice again. With his unabashed {and often rough around the edges} straight talk he’s stirred millions of supporters with a unique style of expressing himself in words, ideas and a vision that deeply connect with real people. He has become the messenger and their voice … and he’s made himself heard in the most unconventional way.

This candidate with his apparent natural instincts for identifying crucial issues that face so many, along with a crystal clear intuition into the needs of the people, delivers a succinct message that resonates with a huge segment of the population … a message impassioned with love of country … vows to nominate Supreme Court Justices who will uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America as intended by the Founding Fathers … and a promise to shake up the Washington DC establishment, restoring a government of the people, by the people and for the people. A government where there will be no room for political correctness, special interests, back room deals, dishonesty and other forms of underhanded behavior.

Don’t we all want a government of fairness and integrity?   

This election is not rigidly about the political left or the right. It’s so much bigger, broader, deeper and far- reaching than merely a left or right issue. It’s more about UP and DOWN. I think that comment originally came from Governor Mike Pence. Anyway, it resonates with me, so I’m championing it!

A Trump/Pence ticket stands for lifting up people … and the nation. 

Doesn’t everyone deserve a hand UP? There are so many heart-warming stories like the one in the video below. If you’re a Trump supporter, you’ll enjoy this. If you’re not … well I pray that a least you can acknowledge there is good in everyone. 

This election process has ignited a grass roots movement.

This burgeoning movement inspired by Donald Trump as the messenger has taken on a life of its own. It is about every single living soul having the chance to stand up and dream big. To lift themselves up and hold themselves to a higher standard deserving of this land of opportunity.  Perhaps it just took someone with unshakable belief to paint a picture of what America can be at full potential … and it’s unleashed many to recapture such a vision. 

My view is that Donald J Trump not only successfully constructs amazing buildings, but he deeply cares about building up people. I have believed in that all my life … that we should build up people … encourage one another.  Despite the cynics and doubters, and regardless of the confirmed Trump haters, I believe Mr. Trump deeply loves America and truly cares about the people.

I believe the people will vote him in as the next President of the United States of America.

That’s why my bet’s on the people.  Vote! Vote! Vote!
