We’re pretty sure you’ll agree that life today is crazy busy.  We lead scattered, frenzied lives running in many different directions trying to keep up with the demands of work, {the Joneses—haha!}, family activities, household chores, social events, and we attempt to balance it all with much needed personal time, FaceBook time—and you name it. It’s day thirteen of the rebirth. The restoration of my right hip joint!  Thanks to the Grace of God and the skills of my wonderful surgeon, the-faithful-but-worn-out-old hip-joint, that has served me well for 69 years, is laid to rest. A “bionic” joint now resides in its place, eagerly promising to serve me well as I go forward into the next chapter of life……..

Oh to find the kind of love to last for eternity and beyond. To fall in love passionately and live happily ever after! That’s what dreams are made of, right? The longer I live and the more I experience and reflect on life, the more I understand it is an absolute miracle that our children have grown up to be such “normal, happy, healthy, productive” adults with such a capacity for love and a deep regard for others, as well as a having self esteem, confidence and belief in themselves {and God}. I admit it has to be more by the grace of God they turned out so well, than for any other reason! Heaven alone knows, as a Mom I’ve made many parenting mistakes and I can truthfully admit that raising children is one of the most challenging experiences I’ve ever faced, but it’s also been one of the easiest and most rewarding!

OMG! Scream #1. I can hardly believe I gave myself permission to procrastinate on writing in my personal blog posts for so long! Horror of horrors! What was I thinking? FIVE months since the last one? Shame on me!
