Light in the Darkness

Happy beautiful Sunday!

In times such as these, darkness has a way of creeping into the world—black shadows that encircle our lives, flooding our souls with foreboding.

I shot this photo at the ranch a while back, while star gazing on a cold night. As I marveled at the strange cloud formation, in the frostiness of the eleventh hour, an eerie chill swept through me, and I shivered.

Then, quite suddenly, as I moved toward the warmth of our cozy house, bright moonbeams broke through the mottled dark clouds, bathing the sky in brilliant light, reminding me that clouds do have silver linings.

The sun and moon may be the providers of light to the world, but it is our Lord God Almighty who fills our souls with His healing light, obliterating all traces of darkness.

May the light of the Lord shine brightly within you. May your soul sing praises to His holy name! May your cup overflow with His glory and goodness filling those around you with love and hope.

People around the world crave light in the darkness of the times. I pray you believe that God is our way maker and miracle worker, and He keeps His promises.  🙏🏻❤️

For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
